Working with HDPE Geomembrane
Our HDPE is available in roll form and our 30 - 60 mil can be cut with a utility knife. The 80 and 100 mil thicknesses may require a saw to cut safely. The material is flexible and can be wrapped around corners, ledges and pipes as well as other elements present on the installation site. When placed in a trench the material stands up on it's own and does not require staking to keep in place when backfilling. To ensure a smooth surface the HDPE is chrome rolled during the manufacturing process.
Bamboo Barrier Application
When used as a bamboo barrier the HDPE material contains all types of bamboo and invasive species from spreading and damaging valuable hardscapes, foundations and road medians. When used as a bamboo barrier a mil thickness of 40 or greater is recommended for maximum effectiveness.
Water Barrier Application
Our flexible HDPE can be used as an effective water barrier in a variety of different applications. Commonly used around foundation walls, the waterproof HDPE material helps to control subterranean water movement as well as blocks plant and tree roots from intruding into the area.
